ABOUT
To mark interfaith week in 2020 we've launched our 'spread a little joy' project. Initially we wanted to have a physical event which students could come along to, have a go at knitting, and chat to others. Unfortunately due to COVID restrictions we can't do that, so we've adjusted!

We wanted to mark interfaith week by recognising we, as humans, are intrinsically woven together. In a time which can feel very disconnected, where we have to isolate, we wanted to take time to remember that even when we're apart, we are together.

We also recognise that joy can feel a bit in short supply and we want to spread some joy around. We love the idea of little knitted flowers popping up in places as a pop of joy. Initially we wanted to yarn bomb the shared uni spaces, but again with COVID we've re-thought that. We hope that what you knit will bring you joy and we're inviting you to share your creations with us and others through social media.

Our chaplaincy team is around to support staff and students from BU and AUB from all faiths and none. If you want to make contact for a virtual cup of tea and a chat, or would value someone listening to you, get in touch using the contact details.
